Not a big surprise, but I have some problems with my 18c. Here's the problems:
Try shooting the gun while slightly pressing up on the magazine. If this results in an increase in efficiency and also kick, you need a new mag catch. This is a very common issue. Call a local gun shop and buy a real one. About $5.
