Oh, I believe you. I saw it on Future Weapons on the discovery channel well before CoD came out as well. It just seems that a lot of the airsoft manufacturing companies want to get a piece of the pie that is CoD dweebs. It started with the magpul masada, known as the acr to CoD fanboys. Don't get me wrong I'm all for, call of duty modern warfare. I'm just sick of all those Geeks trying to emulate a video game on the airsoft field...

honestly, i say keep making guns from video games. why not?? they are all interesting guns, and a load of fun to play with and mostly functional. The only annoying thing comes when they are obviously cod fanboys doing it to replicate their online loadout and don't even know real world significance etc. idk, i really dont care, as long as more not m4 guns are made! ha

Also what guns havent COD done?

Five-seveN?, MP7?, PSG-1?, XM-8?, TKV-33?, Sigs?, 614s?, PDWs?. There are some but not many.

I have the mp 7. I've owned 2 different models actually. Tokyo marui did a model (electric ), and I actually currently own the kwa gas blowback model. I've known and loved the mp7 long before rainbow 6. And tokyo marui also does the psg-1, but they produced it well before rainbow 6 and I haven't seen one in a very long time.

Tokyo marui also produced a kit that turns your g 36 c into an xm 8. Long before ghost re con..

Kwa's mp7 is nice, i've looked into it myself. Kind of mad at my kwa atp right now tho.

Mine initialy had a trigger defect and locking outer barel, it also had the slide buffer that needed to be glued (they fixed it) so i sent it back. It came back good besides after a few days my hop up broke and i then had to work and tweek it to get it even kind of on target, but i just lived with it. But now what happens is when i load it up, it doesnt cycle very well and after a few shots it releases all the gas instantly. after looking at it i noticed my internal cylinder peice looks off so i undid it and reinstalled it with no change or improvement. And just before it started doing this i got a new bucking and hood, so i cant test to see if its back on track hop up wise.

for the gas release, have you checked part #88. When you insert the mag, sometimes this piece will slide up, and for some reason a gas release occurs... i think. Anyways no harm in at least checking to see your gun does this. If it does, then you might want to check the forums to confirm, but they said to glue part #88 into place.
