Interest in Semi milsim games???
I want to know what the community thinks about doing some semi milsim games. Not too hardcore, but a middle ground between hardcore ww2 uniforms and guns only and everyone running around like chickens with there heads cut off shooting at everything with 12,00000000 BBs in highcaps. Basically use ww2 rules/ideas, but not have the strict uniforms/gear requirements a ww2 game would have. Something like this:
"Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!"
that sounds like a really good idea for a game. you should try and test it at the game on the 31st. that is if people want to try it.

That would be a good formula for a Vietnam scenario as well.

Exactly, it's more about the game play then it being "ww2" or "vietnam" or anything. I think it would be a lot of fun, add some realism without making it so complcated no one can remember the rules or objectives. I'll change the title to reflect that...
