Well i just got Windows 7 today and i installed it and all is good. I just wanted to know if anyone else has gotten it and what do you think about it?

Yeah, i had Vista too and it worked and i liked it. But i got Windows 7 as a present.

On a slightly related note, college students get a huge discount on Windows 7. IIRC, 30 bucks if you have a valid college email address.

let me say that I've made my money exploiting peoples lack of knowledge and most importantly frustration with the windows operating system in the corporate world. I hate it as much as they hate it, but not since going from Win98 to Windows 2000 have had so FEW complaints about a Microsoft Operating system.

I've been on windows since my first laptop running Win 98... but XP was definitely the greatest. Starting with vista, I had to reformat all the time from blue screens and it just couldn't handle the computer work I did like XP or a Mac could. so after the 7th reformat on vista, I had HAD IT. So i made the switch to mac and dual boot XP pro. the best thing ever from microsoft.
