ok here is where i should have posted this.......sorry about the mix up........ok i need some more advice on what to do with my M203. i have made some foam golfball rockets and they arnt working very well anyone have any advice
Use 3 fins and place them at a slight angle so the rocket spins when launched for stability, make the fin tube about 5 inches long.
Look its a bird its a plane, no its just my broken aeg flying all over the place.
umm i have the CA short launcher so idt the 5 inch tail tube will work
You can experiment but the shorter the tube the less stable it will be.

michaels carries a cheappy $1 version....known to disintigrate after repeated use.
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.

On the nerf, the duct tape is the easiest way to make them fit a 203, if you shave down a vortex you will have rough foam which is not the best for aerodynamics, I use tape to reduce the size of the foam head and it works like a champ(you can get tons of colors for duct tape too) and you can adjust it to have the best fit and the right friction to hold it in while not being tooo tight to f up the shot, you don't need to shave the fins either you simply twist the nerf as you load it so all the fins are twisted in the same direction, you'll get a great spin..because as AN stated since your barrel is short you will be relying on the spin for stability also use the XMPB4 Madbull shell and you'll have no problem having enough gas to launch that puppy, they fit perfectly in the m203 and don't leak enough gas to make any difference.

yeah I tried to pick up some of the Nerf clones at Michaels and they were out. I just got 1 to try out and I ended up shaving it down with a door knob hole drill bit, and I don't think I will ever find a cheaper ammo than $1.00.
