Blinding opfor with tac lights, shooting holes in buildings to avoid fatal funnels, free falling off a mountain and RUSH game mode.... What else do need?

I'm almost done downloading it on my PC...I'm freaking excited! Bought a new graphics card, HD TV, keyboard, and headset for the full experience! :D (I didn't buy it all just for the game...just happened to all come in time.ha)

EA's server's (at least in my past experiences) are on the slow side. Usually they tend to pick up when the game's popularity gets into full swing.

This game is too good. Too bad while on my way to turning on my xbox, it red ringed today. So much for playing battlefield.

It wont work on my 64 bit system. Installing a bunch of updates, maybe that will help.

Love it for PC. Started out in 1942, logged insane hours in BF2, and BF3 is delivering... Nothing like 64/64. =]

Holy hell! Played strictly as AT in Caspian Border had 24 kills and got about 17000 points after the round with all the ribbons... All I did was plant AT mines throughout the entire map and shoot tanks with RPGs. I love how after you plant a mine it doesn't go away when you die it stays there until someone drives over it, after we'd lose objectives I'd still be getting kills 1-2 minutes later.... EPIC

My graphics card fried a couple of weeks ago. And my old tower is not what it was 5 years ago. But I have played the beta on the playstation, it's a pretty sweet game. I will always remember the day when BF2 came out, though.

Hey guys, so Im trying to figure out which system I'm going to get BF3 for and I thought I would go for the best graphics. I been doing some research to figure out if my laptop would be able to run the game on ultra but can't seem to find anything that says it could. I have a Dell XPS

Don't think you'll be able to do Ultra. Probably Medium possibly Medium High. My brother has the GTX 460M and clocked around 15FPS on Ultra, not playable. I am using the GTX 260M, and am able to play on medium settings. What's your resolution? Playing in 1920x1080 is pretty hot.

Sadly the XPS version I have has a screen resolution of 1366x768. As for which system I'm going to get BF3 on I guess I'm left with PS3 or Xbox360. Thanks Jake for the driver tip.

I never played the demo, but can safely say I dislike metro... It's the worst map the game has... I love Tehran Highway though and the Siena Crossing? Where its just tanks and infantry in the paris type town... Pretty much all the maps expect metro. I don't really get a COD feel though... No noob tubes, marathon pro + ballistic knife, dual shotgun wielding or killstreaks
