I have a KWA KM4RIS and it wont shoot straight. I installed a EDGI 6.01 tightbore and it doesnt seem to be working right. Ive tried it with KSC.20, Javelin.25, and TSD .28. The BBs always seem to curve to the left.
While it is possible that the barrel is bent you should be able to tell by rolling it on a VERY flat surface and looking to see if it wobbles or the ends lift off the surface. If it just rolls smothly without wobble or rise, your problem is internal and one of the guys at AEX or someone very familiar with KWA rifles should look at your hop unit and the inside of the reciver that it fits into.
tell us if it still shoots crooked with the hopup off
I turned the hop down to the lowest setting and it still curved a little, but not as much as if i turned it on. This would probably mean the bucking is crooked right? Well ive tried over and over again to straighten it by alligning the barrel groove with the seam on the chamber but it doesnt seem to be working...
sounds like you might have a crooked barrel. like erin said roll it on a flat surface and see if it rolls straight or wobbles
I recently installed a tight bore barrel on a KWA m4. You have to make sure that the barrel and the hop are sealed together and make sure that the bucking doesnt flip up on its end while you are sliding the barrel into the unit. Also make sure your groves are lined up depending on the barrel. But having a bent bent barrel would be easiest solution to test for. Take it to aex and they should be able to diagnose for you.
