No I have not, Dave...Llyod...Richard or whatever you are calling yourself now. But I have had mine for a couple years now and I have not had any problem like that with it before...

Sand, mud, pebbles, grass, silt, blood, body tissue; Seriously....

Dirt is a huge concern figuring in combat being on your belly is one of the prefered positions.
