And it sucks, cause both Mickey and myself were tromping around in the same bushes, 30 feet away from the leg. And we were lying on the ground, kneeling, and going prone and everything.

without having seen the area I can't be sure, but if someone just chucked it into the bushes I'm pretty sure you guys didn't mess things up too much.

It was VERY clear that it was tossed there and we don't have "remains" on our gear or guns. The lack of blood around the site where it was dumped implies that it was severed long before being disposed of.
