I have been thinking of making a mask for Fort Ord that would be fun to wear and look funny/different then most others. Here is a pic of what I am going to work on:

That is an awesome idea for a mask! One of the problems that I see right off is that it is gonna fog up real quick. Might need to mess with the mouth area and open it up a little bit... and then put in some mesh or something.

make a mask with nose plugs and mouth plug tube/exhaust pipes to properly dispose of your breath to prevent fogging.... exhaust pipes... just dont make any rice rocket style sounding ones. if anything.... flowmasters.

you need a machette! :lol:

Mesh would probably work out the best.

I can't tell if the mask has foam padding inside or not. Some of the masks I looked at had padding and some didn't.

I will look at both options for eye protection. My first thought is using the glasses followed by the mesh. The mesh would eliminate any fogging and still look good.

I got the mask in the mail today and I love it! Its big enough for my melon and has padding built in. I put on a large pair of smokey safety glasses and it works fine.
