Compression Chamber Tightening HELP

Sep 24, 2010 12:11am
Hey guys I'm gonna tighten the compression chamber on my CA Sportline M15A4 and I was wondering what I'm gonna need to do it cause I've never done this before. The guys at Airsoft Extreme told me to hustling it up a bit on the valve or something bit I forgot to ask what kind of lube I should use. Is WD40 a bad idea (or a terrible idea)? Also are there any instructional videos on YouTube or any instructional websites out there that you know of cause I couldn't find anything on mechbox.com about this. Or if there's someone that can walk me through it on these forums, that'll work too. Thanks.

Remove the cylinder assembly (cylinder, cylinder head) out of the gearbox. Take your piston along with piston head and place it into the cylinder. Plug the cylinder head with your finger and push the piston forward in the cylinder.

I've seen CA sportlines with loose cylinders in the gearbox. By loose I mean you could rattle them around and in some cases, spin them (they spin on the cylinder head).
