At the last NAM game I held on the 29th, we had one team of about 14 people with about 8 radio's amongst them. I'd also brought a radio for steve and I to communicate, because we were on opposing teams.

I agree, channel 10 needs to be our official admin channel.

I agree with the above that admins need a dedicated channel for dealing with emergencies or game regulation without getting spammed. For dire emergencies we could use our cell phones. Just swap numbers before the game. I know my phone (Cingular) works all over nam.

no messing with comms to much of a safty issue and cell phones should be used

Cells for emergency is good, mine should be working soon.

My concern with the cell phone idea falls back on myself, just in the sense that mine isn't very durable. I jump and crawl around alot, even go for a swim in my gear from time to time. I see my phone lasting one or two days of gaming max. Most of this WW2 vintage gear doesn't have good pockets either, so losing it would be easy as hell. :(
