m1a1 Thompson: Suggested Upgrades?

Apr 15, 2005 5:14pm
I am new to the hobby and a total WW2 freak so, naturally I bought the Tommy as my first AEG. Looking around, I see lots of upgrade info about the other models, but not to much on the Thompson.

I see that.... dude, it would be the coolest thing to see an armalite with wood stocks/grips, just for Sh#$ and giggles.... nah.... I take that back... it would induce a gag reflex.

Oh, by the way, to the original owner of this post (Sorry for hijacking your thread) AWESOME choice on the Thompson! I want one so bad!!! Those things are gnarly, and they feel really weighty. Plus they have a really solid gearbox (I think it's a version three, but I am in NO way, shape, or form a knowledgeable person when it comes to the insides of airsoft guns). I'd have Snoopy upgrade it for you... he's a great guy to do business with, and always does good work.
the only thing with the Tommies is that the mags stick down too much....you could always use 190 round mags though...that's if you're planning on laying prone....
Yea, but that keeps you from having to kink your neck down to use the sights when you are shooting in anyother positon. That is...if you use your sights....
you look hungry...how about some bbs?
