bill ,you've got marine gear posted, may want to include army gear as well, the marines later in the war use the same stuff.

Well the rifle is pretty straight foward. But more any gear or such that might be different for a sniper than a grunt

Yea I'm pretty stoked, not happy about getting plastic magazines, but I figure I'll slowly convert over to metal G&P and TM's, then use these as loaners and spares. :)
Hey guys I'm gonna need a pistol to go as a back up. I don't really want a 1911 (unless I get it cheap or in a trade) cause well there's to many and they're too common what other options do I have? Kinda want a revolver.

Well I was just thinking along the lines of how screwed I'm going to be if they get closer then 100ft (darn rules). What would a sniper in Vietnam carry as a backup? Other than a spotter haha.
