LOL I spent a good four hours today digging my driveway out so I can get to work tomorrow. It doesnt matter if you have have AWD if you car isnt high enough to go THROUGH the snow. We had over a foot and half fall last night.

I spent a good 8 hours delievering packages in that foot of snow. It was an interesting day. Tomorrow is going to interesting as well... the only thing worse then snow, is ice.

Don't know if I would call it a salEs gimic. When the snow is about 8 inches my car does great, assuming I'm not running race tires. It is just today my car makes a horrible snow plow.

Most cars actually do pretty good in the snow. At least FWD ones. It's the tires and the low clearance that is what stops them.

Im in a 2.5 RS Impreza. Nice choice on STI clowpuncher.

I am not saying AWD is totally worthless, just not all that it's built up to be.

07 STI and an 08 forester here, AWD is pretty cool.....Locking diff on the STI is pretty fun to play with in the snow :D

Love the Toys apples.....I've had a few (4runners and Tacomas) but they were all stock. I really want an '85 xtra cab on 35s. Nothing fancy, just a fun truck.

AWD is pretty fun on tarmac though :D
