I was doing a scrim in an empty lot with a few of my friends today, i fired about 50 rounds with bursts on full auto outa my ak when suddenly it stopped firing. It made what i can only describe as a *SSHHHH* sound when i pulled the trigger. Then the trigger dissengaged, now when i pull it nothing happens at all. Im hoping its just that my battery is outa power, but i dont know anything about the internals of airsoft guns. Gonna charge the gun at my friends house tommorow. Any other possibilities.
your gears are stripped . with still pulling the trigger it jammed up the gears so now you get nothing . you need to have new gears installed and all the meatl shavings cleaned out .
is there ANY sound made at all? like the motor trying to turn? i doubt the gears are stripped if its still making noise (coming from the motor, but just a clunk) or even if its making no noise.
Im getting no sounds at all. :( I guess ill open it up and see whats going on. Any suggestions on what replacement gears to get? I have 400 fps upgrade and im pretty low on money
battery may be dead, also check your fuse(if you still have one in the gun) something could have jammed like the motor or gears and cause your fuse to blow out
even if the battery is "dead" it will still make a clunk noise. you have an electrical problem.

if the battery were completely drained it wouldnt make any noise since there isnt any power to draw out of it to move the motor, Check your fuse, My ak wasnt working a few weeks ago, no noises at all and blue a new fuse every time i pulled the trigger, i ended up just lubing up the gear box and putting in a stronger fuse
