So I know ICS used to have a reputation for being garbage, however I was wondering if anyone knew how they were doing more recently? I love the split gearbox idea. And with the "Amazing rotary style hop-up" claiming to get 200 feet of range, I'm considering getting an ICS M16 or M15 Carbine. I also like the ability to swap out the upper receiver on the fly and having a functioning forward assist.

I had one of the new ICS Sportline m4's, which have the same internals as a regular proline m4. I was very happy with how the gun performed on a 9.6 battery. Trigger response was awesome and accuracy was very good, it's a good buy.
Did you have any problems with it, and is the range really as they claim?

I never had any problems with it, however, I also never had 200 foot range. I would say it is on par with any other m4 aeg in terms of range.
Awesome, thanks for the info.

I have a 2006 anniversary M4 from ICS.
