impossible is nothing
Battery borrows are free, you just have to provide something as collateral. I usually give them my phone or wallet if I need a borrow.
My favorite moment at ASBG:

Today was fairly fun at Battlegrounds. Didn't have the best experiences though :/ I brought my friends who hadn't been there before and one of them accidentally (under his clothes and stuff) left a mag in his gun in the area. The ref came up and took the mag out (which when done incorrectly spilled a bunch of bb's) and told him he had to sit out a game. I politely asked if this could be lifted, since this was the only time him and a visiting friend could basically play until summer comes. Ref said no.
We shall meet in glorious battle
Perhaps that kind of overzealous rule enforcement can be discussed with the owner. His staffs attitude and conduct will directly affect the business. If people are yelled at or talked down to, they will leave.

Hw many times was the dude warned about removing his mags in the staging area?

DISCLAIMER:
I believe Alex and Crew have addressed this internal issue already.
spidedd sorry that you had a bad day but thing like mags in staging can take someones eye out in a snap .
He wasn't warned, it was instant. I understand the safety issue and completely agree with all that they do, I just think maybe at least one warning before sitting out a game, or something as such could be given, because accidents happen. If it happened a second time after a warning then definately have them sit out a game or more, but everybody slips up on something simple.
in soon :)

We do have a warning system that we use for small infraction but for a gun that's ready to go it's auto sit out because that could hurt someone with no return . And to sit out a game is way better then knowing that you just took out an eye I think .

One more point to consider;
I agree....i was just in there and it seemed as if the party had a knowledge of the rules.....alex, you have any laminations of the rules so you could post them where ever a persons eyes may look? (seats, tables, etc)
[quote="spidedd"] Reason i rant and am pretty angry about that is 3 things, 1: That is just a ridiculous punishment for an honest mistake. it's not like he was deliberately doing that and therefore needs punishment. And 2: this is after a guy got mad at the man who runs BG's in front of everyone, dropped the f bomb and said this was bs (all outloud and in anger towards the guy). Did he sit out a game? get kicked out? or even get a warning? nope! the guy in question apologized and therefore nothing happened. my friend apologized for an honest mistake and got to sit and wait out a game (the one game he actually wanted to do with his friend, who then had to leave early)

nightblade....your correct, but im talking shortened versions all over the place. Give them a short reminder to what they are. People make mistakes, we all just need a reminder at times. But i believe alex's refs did the right thing.....not only did the kids friends learn, but it set an example for the people around him to not leave mags in or they will suffer the consequences too.
last night was my 1st time out at asbg. ( i originally went to sight in my new SVD, but i stayed and played 2 games.)
