No worries, everyone is human. I can clearly see where it would have been misinterpreted. One of the bad things about forums is it is hard to read the emphasis and intent of a post.
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.

This is the reason why this discussion was a can of worms.

Kal is connected to the Galt field, its completely understandable that he would take offense to the above comments.

Evan this has never been a matter of us vs them, at least for me. SacAir has essentially grown into two sides though. The side of commerical "business fields" and the free underground games. The commerical side is the efforts of Kal at galt or the other admins having a regular appearance at galt or davis. The free game side is the games at Nam, The Hill etc.

The underground games are not going to ever attract the same about of attention they used to....that ship has sailed my friend. A majority of the community is now willing to trade some monetary loss for convenience and legitimacy. That option did not used to exist and now that it does its going to continue that way like every other "underground" sport does at some point. I don't fault you at all for wanting to keep things going I think its a wonderful idea but don't expect the same numbers that used to show up, no amount of games is going to fix that with so many good options around.
i understand your point myself, but man you gotta realize all this happend already. We are reliving a future that paintball has already delt with in the 80's. Sure we can play now at nam, but like i was talking to evans about, if 100+ paintballers showed up there, the cops would freek. Free, open land games will not last, unless some one has a big chunk of private land and lets people play for free. This game just like paintball is going to end up being played on well maintained and reguled feilds, im sorry but that day is coming.
The 120+ games existed in a fairly small window of time where demand was pushed up at an incredible rate by AEX and we were the only game in town. prior to that our "big game" at CP was like 60 people I think and what was pulling in a ton of the bay area guys. I think its great you will keep hosting free games but It not a fight. Your cant force the community to change, the dynamic for the free market to take over had always been there it just took time to get it established. our lack of numbers has nothing to due with mismanagement, there are just options available to the players now. Take into account the inconvenience of most our fields for sac players and the numbers speak for themselves.

Dec 29, 2009 2:28am
Yes to both.

Yes to both as game ref's.
I agree on the Active/Inactive listing, but rather than a list, why not some type of designator to indicate current activity?
When I was first considered as a game ref prospect, I was required to run three games that POSER scheduled. After the third game, I was promoted to GAME REF. About seven months later, I was promoted to ADMIN.

Seems to me we already have this. Game Admins and Admins. No need to add any other titles IMHO.

Other then Zach "Medic" we don't really have any other Game Admins and I agree, no additional titles need to be made, Game Admins are Game Refs.

What about Dagger aswell? Guys always been cool headed, fair player. He wants to paly more also. If he can actually make enough games to be able to host some I think he'd make a great admin.

I was actually thinking Craig would be great! plus it'd confuse the hell out of most people to have Craig and Craig hosting the same game. I was gonna run the idea by you tomorrow, I guess brillant minds do think a like.
