How are they in terms of reliability? And are they worth the price?
Get the CA version, the RS version uses its own proprietary internal parts and to be honest not all that impressive performance, loved the commercial they had showing hitting a match stick....ya got one...lucky to hit a silver dollar at that distance. Too much money for what it is.
Look its a bird its a plane, no its just my broken aeg flying all over the place.
Its a modified CA M14 GB and uses a longer cylinder set and piston like the SR 25, gears too. I'm using a super torque up gear set (just finished that today) and a M130 with a 6.03 TB (probably going to go with a 6.01 later) so its hitting just under 480Fps with good accuracy. Not crazy about the CA motor so will probably change that out to a neo mag motor later.

Great gamepod just got the wood version of the ca svd, anyone know if ca will be doing a svd wood kit? I should have waited

Have you owned the RS version? Reviews on Red alliance are positive for the most part.
I shoot Table Gypsies on sight!
Mickey worked on one. If I remember correctly it used a four gear gear setup. Don't remember the full list of proprietary pieces and other hangups he saw with the box.
what do you need a svd for, you already have the mantis
