I've been trying to figure out how to make my m15a4 more responsive with semi automatic fire. i suspect getting new trigger contacts would help, but I'd like to hear some other opinions.
Try a 9.6v battery, or a 10.8v if you've got the money a lipo will give you the results you're looking for however its going to cut down on the life of your gun.

I'm already running a 9.6, but I'm not looking for full auto rof. I'm looking for semi auto rof. I'm also running a pretty new classic army high torque, so idk if thats the problem.
What inferno was saying is true, the higher the voltage of battery you have, the faster the trigger response will be. Try wiring the gun to deans and getting a MOSFET. It will help alot
ahh, i see. I don't have a perfect understanding of how everything works, so excuse me. i just thought he misread.
No worries man. And actually I dont know any retailer that sell MOSFETs, I know somebody on here was selling them.
i think i saw one from reid industries at aex for $40. and someone was selling an unknown one on CL for 20.
yeah a neodymium motor sounds freakn awesome. What do you mean plug and play mosfets? aren't most of them like that?
Nope all the ones pretty much sold at an airsoft store you hook it up to your preexisting connector then plug your battery that doesn't do anything to protect your trigger contacts.
hmm interesting.. I used to have a jg high power in my old tm mp5, and it had a ton of torque.
I use a 7.4v 40c lipo and get trigger response like an 11.1v. The only difference I see is a decreased rof on full auto which is fine with me as it will increase the life of my gun. If you want extremely snappy trigger response and a system that will last a while, run a 7.4v lipo with a higher output (c rating) in conjunction with an active breaking mosfet. My personal experience is a very fast trigger response with little noticeable difference between a 7.4 and an 11.1 with an AB Mosfet. Right now I run a 7.4v 40c lipo no mosfet and a TM EG1000 and get very satisfying results on semi auto and plenty rof on full auto. That is just my .02 cents! Hope it helps!
impossible is nothing
Active breaking kills motors.
