KJW Pistols!!!

Apr 21, 2005 2:53am
Ya, I gots some money, and I am thinking of getting a GBB thats more of a show piece then for combat. But something I can still plink with or have the short pistol battle in my yard. I was looking on Redwolf cuz they got a good slection, and I was looking at the KJW line. Now I haven't seen alot of people use the KJW pistols ever, and haven't really heard of them, but getting full metel GBB for about 150 or less (aftershipping), thats awsome. So whats the deal with KJW? and is there any good places to order them too?

KJs look and feel really cool. They shoot well until the mags start to bust on you. The KJW mags are pretty crappy. My friend had one the mags were always breaking on him. Ive heard a lot of stories from other people having the same problems as well. If you want a good pistol WA and KSC are good.

No no no, like you know when you buy an AEG from a HONG KONG place they put on an orange barrel but include the real muzzle like in the safety plug thing that protects from dust. I mean stuff like that, cuz I see alot of people who have pistols without the big orange tip and I want to know how they got them!

Ya, I've heard a lot of crap about the KJW mags, but the guns feel awsome.

I have 3 of them and run straight propane in them and have never had a problem with the mags... Yet anyway.

I've got (2) KJ's. Have been playing with them for the last 2+ years. Not a single problem with the GBB or the mags. Just clean and lube regularly. KJ's I think are for playing. If you want a show piece, go WA.

wow.... great way to throw a topic off of its rail. Let's correct some more grammar, and prove how superior we are at the world of English... on an AIRSOFT site. lol j/k Snoopy. Anyways, I'll get this topic back on topic. I owned a KJ works pistola, and it was friggin' AWESOME!!! I got the full metal KJW M9, and it was a beauty. It had the best feel of pretty much any GBB I had held at that time. It comes standard with an orange barrel, but it has a replacement black one that is relatively easy to pop into place. Honestly, the mags are $hit... so buy the KJ gun, and get TM mags. Trust me, you will love this gun... the only probs are the mags.
Tree down. Repeat, tree is down.

So....TM mags fit KJW guns?

I've found that the KJ mags are extremely sensitive to weather. When its cold, they are crap, and when its hot out, the'yre awesome and will fill every time with no leaks.
WAR IS PEACE.

Honestly man, you'd be better off rolling to AEX and having Ronnie hook you up with a KWA Glock or KSC USP Compact. Good for plinking and battles.

I've had no problems ordering 2 pistols from tokyo-model.com.hk. I personally didn't worry too much about orange paint, because I've always ended up buying a metal slide for it anyway. One of the guns had avoided the dreaded clay and instead had the rubbery glue on it. The other pistol got clayed and I ended up spending a few hours scraping most of it off with dental tools and using model paint to cover the left overs.

i concur with erin. go see the guys at aex. you might pay a little bit more, but it is a small price to pay for their great service and knowledge. buy local!!! i have bought overseas numerous times, but you know if i need parts or have problems, who do you go to???? support the local shops!!

hey about the orange barrels if you order from www.poweredgeusa.com they send you both the plastic orange barrel and the metal one so you can just switch them out. my friend emailed them about it a while back. but he got the p14's but i think its the same with the m9's. if u want to be sure e-mail them about it.
