Hi. I usually hang out on the Airsoft Recon Board (not too active) and the WW2AA board, but I thought I'd throw an idea out here and see if anything comes of it.
AH, OK ignore the PM I sent you. I figured out where Parks Bar is. We call the field in that area "Knee Break Ridge". I personally love that field. A lot of people are not a huge fan of it due to the rough landscape and the pothole filled road coming in. The best part about it... TRUCKS!!!!

I don't think we can muster up African campaign style uniforms, but I'd be down for just going out in our normal M42's and seeing if anyone else wanted to tag along.
Yep. That's the place I meant by Parks Bar. I might have the name wrong. I'm in favor of "close enough" uniforms. I think the terrain there is a good stand in for the type of terrain found in tunisia. Now, if someone's got a halftrack...

where is this field located? ive always wanted play here and havent had a chance yet
In between Grass Valley and Marysville... right across the street from Beale AFB. It's in the Yuba gold fields off of Hammonton-Smartsville road or highway 20 depending on how you go there. Hammonton road is the pothole filled half dirt half ruined paved road that takes you to the field.

you know, because of the gold rush, there is a lot of terrain like that along
