67 years ago today one of the Great events of WWII took place over 160,000 troops landed on a 5 mile stretch of beach to take on hitler's forces in France. if you dont know about this date, i dont blame you, i blame the school system. educate yourself:

The Invasion Fleet was drawn from eight different navies, comprising 6,939 vessels:
