waterproof
what is the best, if there is any at all, airsoft weapons that can be used and abused in water including full submersion for extended periods of time.
Russel Crowe- whether its a skirt in gladiator or tights in master and commander, he can still kick your ass.
Why not go one step further and get a Escort or DG? Shooting underwater alone makes it worth it.

I wasn't aware they could perform like that. and yeah I would obviously want the best possible weapon that can operate in water conditions

I am sure you've seen this.

Well I have no experiance with those rifles, so I can't help you there. I would imagine they would be fine, but I am unsure if they would fire immediatly after submersion. They may need to "drain," also consider the water I assume would be cold. So in my opinion I would have to say overall your gun would be fine assuming you take care of it, but I am simply unsure as far as functionallity goes.

If you get really good at rebuilding your gearbox, a stock TM can take the abuse.
obviously you dont know him.
number one thing make sure you gun is dry. dont leave it wet in your bag and put it in your garge for a month and asume it will dry, cuase it wont the water will just sit nice and fun in the gear box :( rust sux
dont think the rust will be "in" the gearbox, specially with all the lube action they put in there, but the body...different story...

OH GBBrs...no comment i have 4 of them..1 of the 4 works...i havent even thought about putting it into water, due to the fact is its expensive as hell on parts, and sourcing them SUCKS. to find parts for my WA/AGM/WE i have to go overseas, which doesnt mean anything but more for shipping and harder to find, if you can find the parts in general. rule of thumb for GBBr's is to order not 1 part you think youll need but 3.

well obviously i wasnt expecting a gas to come up out of the water shooting perfect etc. Accuracy would go out the window as a bb trying to get spin from a wet rubber hop bucking wouldnt work in the first place. i would as often as possible during the travel time in water have my weapon in a waterproof bag but i want it to be able to withstand a few dips just in case. did some research on escort and that seemed like a good weapon platform. as far as maintenance goes i dont know much now but i understand i would have to cleanup the gun after every game.

depending on the gbbr youll need a combo of different parts, here are some of the following, depending on manufacturer and make and model.

I see people who are into RC cars get the insides waterproofed for their rock crawlers and what not. Try calling up your local RC hobby store. Chances are they'll be well informed about airsoft and have a few ideas about keeping water away from your motor, battery, and gearbox.
OH, don't mind Austin, we let him greet the guests, and then tie him up out back.
I would search up a classic gun the escort systems are okay but you can get a better gun then a escort. Classics will run great IF they are ran with a external rig either CO2 or HPA underwater. Theres nothing you can really mess up just dont press the trigger when your gun is fully submerged. When you bring your gun out of the water you can start to fire all the air will push the water out of your system or acleast most of it.
kinda not helping the forum but can stock mp5k AEGs withstand rain pretty well? also can you submerge GBB pistols?
rain doesnt hurt must other than the exterior rust. fully submerging gbb/aeg's is high not recomended, as it may ruin or even destroy your toy.
