JG BAR 10 Stock

So I've decided my next airsoft purchase will be a JG BAR 10 I've used a knock off of this rifle before the AGM 700 I think it was called. But seeing as no one seems to make a wood stock for the 10 I need help.

You could always paint it to look wood. I got pretty good at making the M1s I made look wood.

Well I've never had much luck with spray painting. If you could like post a walk through guide for wood colouring that'd be amazing.

Ah, well spray painting it is your problem! I just took a couple of brown paints, burnt umber I think was my base coat. Brushed it on THICK with a brush to give it that grain look. Then I took a second brown color and very lightly brushed it over the base. It comes out looking great. Then spray it with a matte clear coat to protect it and it comes out pretty good.
