i can not decide between 2 weapons and need some opinions, essentially its either an M16A4 or an M4A1 RIS on both of course with the same externals(optics etc.) i just dont know whether i prefer longer or shorter barrels anyone got any pros and cons and maybe some preffered brands?

Personally I'd go with the M16A4. Fixed stock means bigger battery, longer barrel means with proper upgrades you can fufil DM or rifleman roles, and you will never be out ranged or out guned with enough mags. My 2 cents.

Forget the barrel length, go fuck around with something with an M16 length stock and get back to us.

im leaning more to a full length but im just not sure M4s are badass as well but u are right on battery wise

Well if it's what you want go for it, I wouldn't let battery size be a factor though... The LIPO I have shoved in my M4 outlasts any of the large batteries I ever had in my full size stocks. I had always opted for the bigger guns, because I wanted the bigger battery, back in the day (2003-2004) I had major issues with the mini batteries I tried to run, so I gave up and went with larger batteries....

Just go with the full stock M16 it's probably what your more used to anyway, and hell if you don't like it later just switch out afew parts and BAM M4.

that is pretty damned sexy another issue im having is either eotech or acog ive been spoiled with the real versions of both so its hard to settle on a knock off of either

Personally I'd go with KWA. They have the best externals I've seen and have pretty good internals. But you'll probably be changing the internals anyway.

Just get a KWA m4 and slap a m16 length stock on that thing. Get a tightbore and deans connectors with a lipo, but leave the KWA gearbox alone. And for the tri burst id suggest going to AWS airsoft.com to check out their mosfets. Very good quality and well made mosfets there.

I'd go M16a4 leave the barrel stock. It'll give you better range but slightly less accruacy. I'd go with a bigger batter but not lipo frankly you don't need it. And hell I'd just leave it full auto but personally I don't use anything more than semi enough to justify it.

Get a good trigger finger and use bursts in full auto. But yea i can see why you dont like the full stock with shorter barrel. Personally i do because of the shorter length but ability to have large batteries that arnt lipo.
