How hot does your gun shoot ,how does this make you better?
who cares....leave the poor guy alone or I will have to show up your m9s with the scorpion again LOL
ok so i'm shooting hotter than stock. I have a m120 in my MP5 and its shooting around 380. But with some of our fields you'll have an open area that your shootin across and into foilage to hit the other person because you step on foot in the open area and your dead from not havin cover. I just wanted to get past a couple of leaves so i'd live for another few moments and not have to walk forever back to a respawn point.
m100s in all my guns....besides the RPK.....

.....na but he does provide a stable shooting platform/sandbag
I'm shooting about 380+ with .20s but use .25s for the accuracy factor. I was pretty happy with my gun stock which settled around 320fps but as Elrand1 put it, I needed to be able to cut through some of the brush at the fields we play at. Maybe my upgrade is extreme for what I wanted but I'm pretty happy with it...
[quote="neouser"][quote="paintballbum2006"]I like 350fps for outdoors. indoor i agree stock is all that is needed. play a different field if you NEED 400fps, that kind of game is boring anyway, long ball aegs.
[quote="paintballbum2006"]yea it is coming from a guy with a 98k, that was also the first time Ive used it since sept 11(on that game i ran it with 134a in the g33 so it was doing like 380fps anway.) havent run that rifle in a while.
Hrm. Just for $hits and giggles, I rechronographed all my guns that I actually have left for gaming. All AEG chronographed with hop set and .20g Airsoft Elites. All pistols chronographed on propane and with .20g Airsoft Elites. The results...

tell the cimm's or groups like that airsoft isnt re-enacting. its a game, its milsim, its both, its either, its not paintball, its a bird, its a plane, its airsoft. i hope this is as far as i go into this thread.
There's nothing wrong with playing airsoft as a re-enactment. The only thing I don't like is when people are told they're wrong when they don't play it as a re-enactment. It's cool if a group gets together and decides they want to play it as accurate as possible to real life. But it's not cool to criticize other people if they don't want to play it that way. Not everyone takes this sport so seriously. There's one person on this board who I know of that likes to play with certain people because he prefers to just play "attack and defend" and doesn't like overly complex scenarios or people who take it way too seriously. To him, he likes to chill and hang out with friends and just play leisurely. (Spending most of his time smoking, really.) Is that wrong? Should he be forced to play games with complex objectives and to stay in character the whole game? Should he have to conform to the standard of playing airsoft as a re-enactment?
First of all, thank you for making my evening very enjoyable. Personally, I prefer the games where EVERYONE has a stock springer, a max of 200-250fps, and me with my wonderful 170fps, shooting a the enemy - 30' to 50' away - and usually missing. Oh how I love airsoft... :P

Ya I see most of the people who run 350 do just as well as the guys who run 400. Im fine with any level of play. But i would hate it if i go to somewhere that is supposed to be milsim and there is some guy in his jeans running around with his gas M-11. But as for sacair games as long as its a step up from paintball im cool with it.
