KSC vs. KWA

Aug 30, 2010 12:09am
Alright so I have decided to go the route of the USP for my secondary but i cant decide between two. I have heard that both the KSC and KWA are practically the same but i am skeptical. So what is the difference between the KSC USP and the KWA KP45? i know that the KSC has trademarks and that is HUGE for me because I want it as authentic as possible.

I like the KWA because i believe it has a metal slide but the fact that it does not have trades is a big turn off for me.

Fly, to tell you the truth, All my KSC GBB pistols have been loyal to me and have the least problems. KWA & KSC works together, but KSC really does make better gbbs. Its quite obvious, If you check on craigslist.. how many KSC gbbs do you find for sale compared to KWAs? :], And plus KSC uses a fine polymer construction if you end up with a "plastic version." Very sturdy. KWA on the other hand has not been too loyal to me. ive owned 4 KWA gbbs w/ minimal use and parts started to break within 4 months even with top notch cleaning/lubing etc. My KSCs last up to 8 months now, and its still kickin.

Okay thanks for the advice guys. However where would you suggest purchasing the KSC? I want it to have trades and I know that the ones from places such as Ehobbyasia.com have them, I am just worried that customs may take them because of it.

The KSC series with metal slides and trades or no trades are made in Taiwan. The KSC (higher quality) with trades and plastic slides are made in Japan, just keep that in mind.

A TM rifle is pretty much all plastic parts. They're pretty good. lol. From my experience with Kwa Usa and their products, I would go with them all the way.
