ASBG & MP7???
A stock TM MP7, do they count that as a pistol or rifle. Mainly want to know if the MP7 has to follow the 10ft engagement rule?
Brett + Retro = Brettro
uzi/mac, mp5k, and mp7 are usually considered pistols there.i always run my mac.

Thanks guys for the reply: I called Alex this AM and found out a few things.

In my opinion, your best bet is a TM G18 with extended magazines.

...I also like the fact the TM MP7 does not require gas. However the downside to that is I can't pull the trigger as fast on semi as I could on my GBB.

I have never owned a TM G18. I am a semi auto pistol kind of guy. The reason I recommended it is based 2 things:

I'd say it depends. I personally love using my tm mp7 because it is extremely accurate, has no engagement, and works great both in semi and full auto games. plus it is compact and everything. On the other hand I have an easy time maneuvering and running with my TM 1911 which is heavily upgraded so it is just as accurate and shoots just as far as my mp7 and harder. Downside is it is hard to use at all in full auto games, and the short mag capacity/blowback make it slightly harder to use. But overall i'd say so far imo the mp7 is the best (also can collapse stock)

what about mp5k's?

At the pistol only games, I have run a S&W M&P 40 Co2 pistol.

From w2hat I have heard is that ASBG classifies a "pistol" as anything that loads the bbs through the handgrip so anything like an uzi mac 10/11 mp7 etc are all "pistols" in their eyes.

My personal opinion mirrors brettro. Tokyo Marui Glocks, 1911's, or MP7's are the way to go at ASBG. I have had so much fun with pistols that I find it challenging to play wednesday nights pistol/shotguns only (as long as you can avoid craig's thunder b onslaught).
What about GBB MP7's as a pistol?
Should still be considered a pistol, unless it chrono's too hot like the KWA KMP9's do.
