really its all preference. I know there is a sniper 101 thread, Ill see if I can dig it up for you. I have personally owned a ca m24 old version. the new ones from what i can tell are lighter (thats a plus) better texture and apearance, and from what AEX has told me better internals. Takes most APS parts.Vsr on the other hand is a proven platform Ive have seen and shot many that are great guns. I am currently working on a BAR 10 project and i cant say Im disappointed. Keep in mind you will be spending a minimum of 200-300 dollars on top of the cost of your gun for it to be worth your while.

I prefer the VSR. Much smoother and the upgrade potential is only limited by your imagination. The M24 just didn't seem to be the best quality to me. very creaky.
