Unfortunately we can't control the masses of people being numb nutted imbeciles, we can only try to educate them, but how do we reach out to them? Good question. . .
[quote="Amateur Ninja"]obviously you dont know him.
just to ask a question about the laws on bb guns, it says the removal of the orange tip is a misdemeanor, and i know that most of us have it removed, but the cops dont say anything, if someone can clarify that it would be greatly appreciated

How would we clarify that . . . ? Cops don't care about a lot of shit.

That's a very controversial question. Some people say its illegal, some say it is not. If I remember correctly, there is no law that states every airsoft gun in the United States has to have an orange tip. It is illegal for stores to sell guns without orange tips, or for distributors to ship their guns without orange tips. Once you get the gun, there may be local laws that prohibit the removal of orange tips. Depends on where you live.
My favorite moment at ASBG:
Well with the orange tip debate I have alway heard and read in a few places is that you need a orange tip or identifier of some sort while transporting but can be switched out during actual game play. But I am not 100% on that.

I treat my airsoft guns as the same as real when transportin, Easy enough.
My replicas stay in a case if they are anywhere but my property when there is nobody around. Or they are at a field. Otherwise the replica is in a case.
as for the orange tip issue

No one said laws made sense. This law is bad from several stand points. I don't think it will get passed. I hope not, perhaps one day this state will pull it's head out of it's ass. Then that day pigs will fly.

It is not the fact that this is going to pass or not, The fact of the matter is that there needs to be more common sense in the world. I don't care whether it is a BB gun or a cap gun if you are not in play you don't point ANY weapon or look-a-like at ANYONE. One day enough people are actually going to get sick and tired of these kids an irresponsible adults running around trying to look cool packing a M4 or Mp5 around the streets. Dont get me wrong when I was younger I was picked up in North Highlands for playing airsoft in a park, but after that first and only time I learned my lesson.

Soda, I'm sure you also had the common sense NOT TO POINT the gun at the cop! When I got my 1st airsoft I knew right away that if I wanted to commit police assisted suicide all I had to do was point it at a cop. I would expect a cop to shoot at me if I pointed it at him! all it takes is for people to have a brain.....not more legislation!

I have already sent a letter to our district's representative. If you have time, please do so as well, perhaps we can help prevent this law from being passed.
British and proud! SAS impression in the works, I am always on the lookout for likeminded airsofters who enjoy a mix of both Milsim and casual play.
I don't know for sure what the law is on the orange tips, but one sure way to find out is get a cop mad at you. If you get the cop mad enough to decide you need to talk to a judge, they'll charge you with everything they

I got a question. Is it allowable to use a standard gym bag as a rifle bag? Thx
