I think that this is more for looks and "feel" than for 100% historical accuracy.

Gettin the correct gun is not nit picking buttons....its the most visiable part of your impression. Any Marui style (OLD) AK will work as it is an AK47. Chinese 56s would work as well. If you leave it as AKs you will end up with tacticool aks and multicam pajamas.

that is true, but then we will educate, and slowly adjust them into compliance.....take off the rail, get a 47 mag....really need some japaneese mauser copies.......

We started all our ww2 stuff pretty ugly. Within a year we had 12-13 guys with almost perfect impressions, the guns were right, the gear was right, everything was GOOD. It's a slow prossess.

Right now I'm still in research mode... Also waiting to hear back from UnCompany, appears they have M15A1's in stock.
Found an interesting "start" guide for VC
I may want in on this one, I already have a tm m14 and would be willing to start up a U.S. impression if I am able to stick with the m14.
