5KU gears, are they reliable, able to stand up to Lipo's. My other question is whats a good and affordable brand of gears to use with lipo batteries?

Be sure to use a sector chip... It will allow perfect feeding at stuipd ROF. The king arms pom one works well and only runs about $5
