anybody have any local gyms that they personally reccomend?

San Fran, Tracy, and i think Manteca or Modesto one of the two have Gracie gyms, i go to the Tracy one, its god fun and you learn a lot.

may not be martial arts, but prime time boxing, me and my dad did a video for their website and i was going there until several incidents that happened in 2009 made me unable to box anymore, but seriously awesome place and awesome people, prime time boxing

I train out @ Folsom MMA. We have BJJ, Judo, Muay Thai, boxing, and some circut training classes. Shoot me a pm if anyone wants to come in and give it a try. I have a gi or two that i can loan out for a class if you decide to try bjj or judo.
Also, Fusion has GREAT BJJ. The instructor is pretty stingy on his promotions(a good thing) and its a great group of guys.

Auburn Martial Arts its on Harrison off of the Elm exit. center. Nice guys, my buddies wife goes their for kickboxing. It is mom and pop operation.
