Alienware M11Xr1 Review

Good review a fellow Alienware user. I have heard decent things about their laptops. Enjoy your laptop in good health, and have fun gaming. I currently have an Alienware Area-51 Desktop and the only issue I had was what the factory set the 2 300GB 10000rpm hard drives in RAID 0 which killed on my hard drives, so I reconfigured the replacement hard drive in RAID 1.

Good review, I miss my old Alien Ware. I may get one again, but for now ill stick to PS3 lol.

ok to add a little negativity on this (sorry) on the 11x did you get the extended warranty? if not DO IT! the 11x is not a bad machine but it has 1 big flaw and that is the LCD hinge. they are notorious for breaking. I have been a Tech for Dell for the past 5 years and the biggest thing that I go work on when it comes to the 11x is the hinges and that means a whole screen replacement. apart from that though the 11x is a very solid machine. I think I have only had to replace 2 motherboards in those which is a good thing. almost every service call I have for those is the hinge issue.

Thanks Dev. I also have the Alien FX which allows me to change to color of my mouse and computer case. Does your laptop have the thermal controls in the command center? I may add more hard drive in the future, but for now the are doing just fine.
