Books!
whats everyone reading for fun these days? Im reading A Distant Mirrior by Barbara Tucman and Black Night, White Snow by Harrison Salisbury.
"Rubican" cant remember who wrote it im not at home so I cant look.
So funny you mentioned it, I'm a general manager for Borders Books, and I just got back from a conference in San Diego. Part of the conference is an expo held by the publishing houses where we get tons of free books, and advanced copies of books. I had 12 full cases of free stuff sent to my store. I'm kinda a book nerd.

I loved 'Youth In Revolt' by CD Payne.
Look, I'm a politician, which means I lie, and I'm a cheat.
hunting down sadam and XIN LOI VIET NAM. hunting down sadam is an awsome book, alot of details about what happend from teh begining of this war till up to whats going on now.
For fans of the movie Blackhawk Down, check out the book Blackhawk Down by Mark Bowden. The book is an actual re-telling of the events, and is what the movie is based on. Mark Bowden also writes Killing Pablo, which tells about the takedown of Pablo Escobar, again very good.
By the way, anyone who has read Tom Clancy should read Vince Flynn. His first book is Term Limits. He is actually recommended by Clancy. His writing is a lot like Clancy, but faster paced and more action...
I have been working on Green eggs and Ham. Its pretty good so far. Hope to have it done in the next couple weeks.

the book I got is The 120 days of sodom. I have to admit it is scary at times. I m about 100 pages in. Get tired of all the fake goodness in the world. Somtimes its fun to dabble with that which is purly evil and horrifiying. At least its not dressed up as somthing its not ya?.

So did you guys read the A. N. Roquelaire (Anne Rice's pen name?) Sleeping Beauty series? That seems like it might be right up your alley, although probably not quite as dark...
