Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to mod my V2 gearbox so it shoots in semi auto only????

you don't need to mod your gearbox, you can just drill a very tiny screw next to your selector so that it can only be selected to safe and single fire

You could physically mod the selector plate for a mechanical solution. Risk is that if you get a cutoff lever/switch lock up on semi you won't be able to get your gun working again without partially taking it down; a major pain if it happens during a game.
Where can I find a mosfet that is able to do that? the reason I ask is I am trying to make a custom DMR out of a M16 with a 650mm inner barrel and its going to shoot a bit HOT (around 500 with .20) so I want it to shoot semi only so I can use it as a sniper at the field I play at.

Edit: The best and cheapest way to make it semi only is to dremel a few mm of material off the selector plate. The colored area shown. By doing this full auto will never engage. And it can be reversed just by getting a new selector plate.

That part is for the spring that resets the cut off lever back "down".
