Newbie friendly gun ranges in Sac?

Hey there. I didn't see this go against the rules.

I'm not really big on ranges. I would recommend avoiding Rancho Cordova Shooting Center unless you like only firing from a seated position or being restricted on a couple minutes of fire. Although they do rentals.

elk grove gun room, they have a wide range of calibers to choose from, mostly glock frames last i checked :( they have a few revolvers in .44 and .357, they use to have a 500 S&W for rent but i haven't been there in a while.

Sweet. Thanks =]. I'll check em out. Yeah, I'd love for a range guy do a safety course so it's not my friends thinking I'm paranoid...
