I'm in the market for a m14 as well. From what I read the socom version of the cyma does not have a threaded barrel, only the reg m14 does. But the Kart/Echo 1 m14 socom has a threaded barrel. But they all might be the same. So it may or may not have a threaded barrel.

was surfin around airsoftretreat apparently it does have a threaded barrel. Thats what the allen key the gun comes with is for.
