WE GBB scar
Hey, I just got a gbb scar and i want to fully upgrade it. First im starting off by adding a new valve to increase fps, second i want to put in a tightbore threaded barrel sadly they dont make it for the gbb scar as far as i can tell so i would like to know who all has done a custom job with a barrel and what barrel u found is easier to conver to the gbb scar. send me a pm
you gonna get a std barrel or keep it cqb?

i want to have 2 barrels, one for cqb and another for when i just want to sit back and snipe. im going for high accuracy, my plan is to use it for snipeing mainly and cqb when i want to move around. i want to have a tightbor barrel for snipeing before i have a tightbor cqb barrel.

i had one and got rid of it, :wink: someone on here with the name viper answered some questions for me about the gbb scar's. he is extremely helpful and knowledgeable on them. you might want to shoot him a pm and see if he can answer some of your questions. good luck!

I have one of these things. Got it last Friday. I have since put about 2000 rounds through it. I have been using propane at 45-55 degree temperature.

propane works fine as long as you use silicone and make sure to run green gas through your mags every once in a while to keep the gaskets/seals hydrated

I have found that u can increace the fps prity good by putin your green gas canister in the fridge after a few hours just put it into your mags and let them set for a while so they warm up. Anyone have a longer barrel in your gun?
Ya those mags cool down way fast. Ive actually only been able to use it without any problems once..It was just pushing 70 degrees, I was using green gas but at 10 bucks a can I cant afford it lol! Cool im gonna give propane a shot..Shawn do you have the newer hop in yours?

I guess I shoulda been more specific, the only problem Ive had was the cool down issue. Im sure that'll get better as it gets warmer..Duster gas?Thats a new one for me.But ya so far I love my scar, Im running .36's and those keep straight for maybee a little over 100 ft lol..Fun little toy

Theres no way to correct a shot that hooks unless you make sure the bucking is spot on to the center. Despite the hop bucking being off center, my WE SCAR does not hook at all.
I have put about 300 shots through it the guy i got the scare from only put 2 mags through it. i honestly cant tell if its curving out to the right because so far the only distance i shot at a target from is 60 ft. when i went to meet the guy who was selling it i shot some rounds and you couldent even see the bb it was going so fast. the target i shot at from about 60 ft away i adjusted the hop up to go straigh for the center of the target but when i aim at the center the bb hits about 6in to the right of were im aiming and i have my iron sights as far as they can go to the right. im planning on gettin a red dot or scope by this weekend but i dont want to get one if i wont be able to sight it in to adjust for it shooting to the right. i stuck a straight rod in the barrel and its pointing to the right a lttle. u have anny ideas why? is there any new inner or outer barrels i could get to fix it?

Are the CO2 mags compatible with the green gas sysytem?

Yes they are. The CO2 version SCAR is actually the same thing as the Green Gas version. The only difference is that the CO2 version SCAR comes with a CO2 mag. LoL!
Snoopy how do u get te inner barrel out of the outer and how do u get the hop up bucking out?
