I would take the gun to AEX and have them install it just to be safe because doing it yourself could be all bad.Just my opinion do what you like though.
thats what i thinking. i dont have any experience and dont want to ruin a good gun.
well, i talked to the wife about buying the matrix kit, and she said we might as well buy another gun, we'd only be paying a little more for a gun than for the stock and reciever kit + labor, So Im in the market for a mid level AK.

correct me if im wrong johnny but isnt that an m4 style stock on that ak?, i think its attached by screws and can be unscrewed and a regulard ak stock can go on it, at least thats what it looks like when i find the pic of the attached part
It might kal, I'd have to look at the stock opened up. JG cloned the old G&P tactical ak body kits and built them as full guns. I think the best thing to do is look for the G&P tactical ak reciever with the M4 style stock or look for the stock set for it.
