I have an idea, don't lay a finger on anybody's gun unless it's yours or you ask them permission. Nobody needs to go turning in any guns either, trust me, they will notice that their expensive gun is missing and they knew where they were and they can get it themselves.

You can call him an asshole but he is exactly right. Not only did your rifle have a sling but it had a damn nice assualt sling on it. Thats exactly what its there for. It sucks your shit got stolen and who ever did it is a fucktard but its going to happen. There is always some dick ready to ruin shit for everyone else. It only takes one asshole. If you need go for your side arm use your sling.

yah, hate to see shit like this happen. I have couple guns jacked in CP days.
I was up there during the last game and attacking barrels from the west side. I remember someone looking for a whole gun where as I and my buddy were just trying to find mags for his gun. I sat my buddy's G36 aside, like you, to attack with my pistol. We were able to find the mags, plus my pistol that I had dropped, but saw no M4. During the end of the game, there were alot of people in that area. Staff member Brian was around there, but I'm sure you already asked him. That's all the best to my memory anyway.

Don't you people get that my battery died, you blame me for laying it down? Why carry around the extra weight and bulk when I didn't have to? I've always seen people laying guns down in the open like that. I figured it was safe in an organized place like WWP, evidently there are bigtime pricks amongst us.
