So I bought an m4 used off of sacair, and I charged up the battery and started shooting it in the back yard. I was on my second mag when a funny noise started coming from the gearbox. Then it seemed like the bb's jammed up. When I pull the trigger, it sounds real muffled and nothing actually comes out. Can someone help diagnose the problem? Thanks

try using a ram rod to un jam the barrel,( if a bb come out thats ur problem(get better high grade prescion made) if tht doesnt work, its your gear box, and take it to AEX to diagnose the problem

do i need to take the barrel off?

no just take out the mag

Ya so it is a bb jam, but the ram rod isnt getting them out. i can see up into the bucking and theres 2 visible bbs jammed.

take out your inner barrel and push from the other side

well the way the hop up works, it cant be to tight, but it can be turned on too much, try turning it down and get better bbs, that should help

ya thats what i meant. if its turned up too much, it could jam up the bbs right? because its putting to much pressure on the botton of the bb?

try the following:

Ok so to pull out the inner barrel, i have to pull apart the body right? If I pull out the rear screw, i can pull the body apart from the upper reciever on the hinge in the front right?

its a reallly old systema body. it was discontinued years ago i guess.
