so is there a going trend or should i look into both types of camo. i like the classic look of woodland but every is talking about ACU Stuff? ACU would be beter in summer too. lighter colors.. u know

acu - good on gravel, pavement, dead or dying grass, not good in low light

desert marpats work in the summer around here better than acus, but personally, woodland is better for the sac valley

I really like how the ACU is built and all the features on it aka front zipper, IR tabs, Velcro on sleeve pockets for patches. But if you can find one of those BDU's that has all that (I've seen them on ebay a few times, someone help me out with a name) you will like that the best.

My squad and I wear MARPAT. We love it, and it works just as well as any other woodland camo. And a lot better in a lot of places than other shades of camo.

I like my ACU's.

another thing acu's are good for:

Throw some brown dye in the washer the next time you wash your ACUs....

i have a full set of ACU, dont get them, unless you are goin to be hiding in concrete. they are very light there for you stick out in the shadows, i use MARPATS and a black tac vest with a black or OD T-shirt. black goes with everything, and ACU just stick out to much especially at NAM, go with woodland, martpats, multicam, or tiger strips if you are goin to play @ NAM the most... tigerstrips are amazing for camouflage, next to a ghillie suit or hiding inside a cardboard box

I like the more solid colors like OD or Khaki, theyre pretty versatile and i just like em more aesthetically

like i said black or OD, and black gets you shot when you a dumbass and dont know how to hide, there for a ghillie suit is just as "leathal"

black just looks bad on a PC or really in general unless its on a jacket with a khaki or pretty much any color chest rig or PC over it.

OD# 3 or as many people call it "khaki". Add a little bit of scrim and it's perfect for around Sacramento.

I also agree with what others are saying. ACU is good in all season.
