Under age 18...
I know alot of airsofters under age 18 playing, buy and sell airsoft stuffs. But ALL your guys got permission form your parent Or jhust play ? I just wonder...Because this issue's so hot on the NEWS.
I got my first airsoft gun back in 1984 when I was like, what, 12 years old? Not a big deal. We didn't have the problems we had these days. My parents' biggest worries were drinking, smoking and drugs, none of which appealed to me. Toy guns were the last thing on their minds. Then again, I never brought my airsoft guns to school. I never really even took them out of the house. I might take them to a friend's house to play, but I never walked around with it tucked into the waistband of my pants or anything, or brandished it in public. I do believe that parents should take an active role when it comes to monitoring how their kids are playing with this stuff, but there has to be a certain level of trust as well. I think the first time I ever played with Jeppy and his crew at Placerville, the parental units were there with them. Everything I observed showed concern from a safety and responsibility standpoint, so I really have no problems with younger players at all. I don't think maturity is completely based on chronological age.
I think the last thing we need is for those cheap airsoft pistols to be sold at walmart.
you look hungry...how about some bbs?

Age is not a basis of intelligence or maturity.
Ray's got the MOVES!

Yah the other day I was in big 5 picking up a couple new mosins (m91/30 and an m38 carbine) and they had a ton of the cheap clear springers. That shit is going to be the downfall of airsoft if anything.
I have no problems to play w/ all young under age guys. BUT..BUT
Well I am pretty sure it is Federal law 18 to buy and 16 to operate (unless the CA law is 18 / 18 ) and they would have to be at least 16 if they are driving themselves so...

Knowing the government they will try to take all of it away because they are incapable of dealing with the real issues. They can only use a blanket solution to cover problems.
"Fat guy...... in a ........ little coat!"
Well im not so much against Walmart as I am against the ease of immature kids to get them at walmart.

yep lol john knows this, i was in big 5 buying a 91/30 and was listening to this kid(12ish) speaking to his friend like he knew everything and i could just see this lack of respect towards the pistol. springers is what will get airsoft banned.
I don't think that most of the people here under 18 can get to games without a responsible adult. :?
uve got to be 18 to transport them? wow i hope a cop dosent decied to search my car on the way to an airsoft game. i dont see y it would be a big deal to have toy bb guns in the trunk of your car. but then again california is my least favorite state with gun laws. no cetme for me =(.
I know the FEDERAL law is 18 to purchase 16 to use.

Daisy Red Rider...man fun times....anyone else ever leave the cocking lever down as to make it look like a bad as AK? then try to shoot it?
Actually, I think it is 18 to buy and there's no restriction on the age you must be to use it, provided that it's under the supervision of a guardian or responsible adult. As for the orange tip, airsoft is classified as a bb gun in Kalifornia, so the orange tip is not required.
No 16 to use without adult supervision.

Dudes, think about it, any argument were the sitution is a child with a gun is a mute argument. Childeren shouldn't have weapons of any kind unless there parents are standing right there with them. Its loseing argument, the way America is with school shootings and with terrorists running around (not just the dudes with towels on their heads eather like the wack job greengos that live in componds in Idaho are way more of a threat I think). Guns are seriouse things and not something for kids to play with. If heaven forbid Airsoft gets banned or so restricted that its impossable to play, its probly going to stem from sitituion invoving a child and an airsoft gun.
In Texas you can be as young as you want to play with one but if your under eighteen then you cannot buy one. But i agree with Ctfizzle guns are not toys, they fucking kill people, you kiddos are going to get this shit banned for all the people that are really into it. Just wait until you are in a war, they really arent so cool after youve been shot at, trust me
Is there a penis in my butt?
BEEN THERE...DONE THAT :(
