For sure need to repaint the stock... and we should try to match the handgaurds and stock color a little better. Bondo up the buttplate and the holes on the side of the stock and I think it will look great.

THIS....is very tempting. Wish I have more money. Anyway so on those M1s were does the mag go or is it a completly different mag or are you just covering the magwell?

The AEG m1 garands are M14's with m1 garand bodies. They accept the normal M14 magazines, but for the traditional look most use shortened custom magazines. They come in different forms from modified shot gun magazines that fit nearly flush with the bottom of the stock, to modified M14 magazines that may or may not fit flush depending on the quality of the work. The magazines on these is the one major short coming. They can require some custom work and do not hold many BB's. The plus side though is if you're at a non-ww2 game you can simply slap in normal m14 magazines and fire away.
