Friends

I was just Thinking. You get in to a hobby. Which this here would be airsoft. And you make a bunch of new friends. Cool friends at that. And sometimes good/cool friends come far and few in-between.

Maybe a friend should be able to voice their opinion even if it is against the view of another friend, without jeapordizing a relationship.

Yeah, kinda sucks.... Not only does it feel like some of the vets are split, then on top of that Sacair has grown phenomenally! Doesn't feel like home anymore... :(

Honestly Glenn I can understand exactly what you are saying. Not really about airsoft but other closely related hobbies and the like. Friends should be friends regardless of political views or personal beliefs. People are entitled to think in their own ways and have the freedom to be an individual. I think people think that if their vews/opinions change their friends should change as well. My parents always affirmed to me that no matter what you do or where you are there will always be assh*les outs there that want to make life interesting for everyone else. If someone is going to call themselves a friend then they should be there an equal amount of time and not just be a "fair weather friend".

Maybe, with some people it's not so much as the different views people take that push them farther and farther apart from each other to where they aren't as close as before. It maybe has to do with choices and decisions that the other person made repeated times, and the other person didn't like it. Or shadyness on someone's part that made them push the other person away just a bit more.

I like the idea of getting together, locking ourselfs in a room, and be forced to stay there until we're all friendly again.

I don’t mind people who voice their opinions on the boards and i don’t care if you’re new to sacair or if you have been around for a while. Im just sick of stupid posts that get nowhere and that are meaningless, and not only posts that are pointless but bulletins. It seems every time I sign on there are 3-5 bulletins that are just a waist of space. And at games lately it seems that every so often there is that one kid who will light some one up when its unnecessary or its within 20 feet. It just happened to a buddy of mine at the last game at the Nam Field. He was out, gun raised up in the air and people still were shooting him after yelling HIT! several times.
