NO WAY! We've got total respect for the troops overseas on this board. Regardless of each person's philosophy on the war, we all support the troops and what they're doing. We wouldn't put down the people who serve our country. Come on, we're not that callous.

I find it quite entertaining that you ascertained that article from a politically biased network. You see, what would be much more convincing, from ANY political standpoint, is to find an article supporting one's beliefs from the opposed political network. For example, CNN is notoriously liberal, hence, if you were to find an article similar on a more republican network, it would be much more effective, at least for those who don't wish to be spoon-fed propaganda. But hey, nowadays, who isn't politically biased?

but in the same light, I see where you're coming from. War is full of hypocrisy, and is completely unfair and unjust to degrade one side for their tactics when the other is just as bad. (BTW what I said has no reflection on my feelings or beliefs on the war... just trying to point out possible weak points in arguments that can be strengthened.)

Like I said, I was only pointing out a weakness in your argument that could have been fixed. I wasn't accusing you of being wrong, so please don't be offended. Obviously, your point was well taken, because you confirmed its validity. That's all I'm trying to say.
