that was WWI, the zimmerman note. the mexicans didnt get it in time before the brits intercepted it. cant really use that thought becuase what about the threat we have from iran, n korea, palestine(did) and all that, but nothing has really happened yet. i hate that kind of BS but it is a point.

I was just watching Path to War, and it shows how wars are really fought, not out on the battle fields, but in the offices, living rooms, dinner tables, and bedrooms.

I refuse to argue with any of you about this topic we are all going to have our openions and no one is going to change anyone elses mind. not to mention the Shithead who started this post did it to cuase drama. This is just my thoughts and I am not going to have a rebutal for any counter arguments becuase I think this is a very deviseve subject and no one on SACAIR has a fraction of the info need to argue this factualy from either side of the isle :)

Very good arguments on both sides. Myself, well, I'm very new to all of this. It will be the first time someone has shot something at me that won't kill me! Oh well, such is life. On one hand I agree with it, I have good friends been there and there now. BUT, I'm still a little miffed because that due to the fact that OIF was going on, we in OEF were without air support on NUMEROUS missions. Does anyone else know what it feels like to recieve an opord and "oh by the way guys, no CAS". Gee just 12 lil ol boys with some guns out hunting OBL! NICE! On other occassions, we had AC-130's. People were hurt and killed in asscrackistan because of lack of support, WHA! Something else that really pisses me off is when someone who has no clue of what goes on anywhere, tries to talk about what it's like. I didn't see that here though. As far as the Iraqi's yes they are starting to step up to the plate and take some of their own heat. You don't see all the good that goes on there, liberal press. Afghanistan, well let's see, they now have a government with their own elected president, an operating army that has alot of heart but due to the lack of education...baby steps. I had quite a bit of experience with the ANA and they're good, the OGA's are better funded and better equipped but civilians have more money to spend.
